Optoelectronics and Nanoelectronics Laboratory, led by Asst. Prof. Emre Yengel, is devoted to conducting research in two main directions; Optoelectronics and FPGAs and reconfigurable systems
Optoelectronics studies focus on material characterization, device fabrication, device characterization of optoelectronic devices, organic electronics and photovoltaic devices.
FPGAs and reconfigurable systems studies focus on applications of reconfigurable hardware in a number of domains such as video processing, network processing, bioinformatics, control.

Open Positions


We are always looking for driven, self-motivated graduate students to work on projects that include our research areas. Currently, we have funding opportunity for a PhD student in a FPGA based real time video processing project.
